Elephants

The elephant herds are slowly congregating on the banks of the Kabini as the water levels continue to dip. During the boat safari today, we spotted a small but bold herd swimming to a newly formed island to feed on the fresh grass sprouting there

A magnificent peacock was seen flying across the Kabini River, crossing over to Nagarhole from the Bandipur side. It was probably in search of a mate.
