Jungle Mynas
Sighted on: 22.August.2023
Jungle Mynas are also called the black jewels of the jungle, often seen on the backs of large mammals like elephants. Elephants and mynas have a special connection: mynas remove ticks from the pachyderms and often use elephant hair as nesting material. They also feed on beetles and worms that appear when elephants take a mud bath. I saw them riding on an elephant’s back on a recent evening vehicle safari.

Tiger
Sighted on: 25.August.2023
Most guests dream of seeing a tiger in the wild; however, it takes more than a wish and a prayer to do so. One needs to have a lot of luck and patience. On a fine evening, we saw this beautiful and charismatic female named after a place called Magge. We could watch her for about twenty minutes as she walked across the view line.
