Tiger

Sighted on: 20.August.2025

The river was swollen from the monsoon rains—water levels were so high that there was barely any space left for the animals along the banks. But then, on one lucky day, something unforgettable happened.

As we cruised slowly down the flooded waters, scanning the landscape with binoculars, I suddenly spotted movement near a small stream that fed into the river. It was a tiger—swimming gracefully through the current! The sight gave me goosebumps.

We cautiously edged the boat closer. By the time we neared, the tiger had reached the shore and emerged from the water, shaking off droplets as he walked up into the forest. What an incredible sighting!

Surrounded by lush greenery, it was the perfect embodiment of the classic Kabini vibes—raw, wild, and utterly magical.
