During the evening safari, the light was perfect for photography. A soft golden glow permeated the forest, and all that was missing was an iconic predator to reflect it into the camera. Well, the gods of the wilderness were in a good mood, and soon enough, the legendary Backwater Female’s daughter, the Balle Female, appeared as if from thin air. She walked straight toward us, demonstrating why she is a force to reckon with in her own right.
