Mornings begin with the usual chores, and for Kabini’s famed poster lady—the majestic Balle female—it’s no different. She was spotted on the morning vehicle safari, patrolling her territory with quiet authority. Her graceful movements through the undergrowth reflected confidence and control, a stirring reminder of the wild’s enduring rhythm and grace.

Elephant

With the early arrival of the monsoons, the large elephant herds have left the backwater and moved into the dense bushes, leaving the backwaters quieter than usual. During the boat safari, we came across a lone cow elephant wandering peacefully along the banks of the Kabini.
