Jackal

During our nature walk this morning, we were in for a special treat. Our guests saw a pair of golden jackals on the banks of the river Kabini, close to the resort. Golden Jackals are not a common sight inside the park due to the presence of larger predators but can be seen occasionally on the periphery and in the agricultural fields adjoining the park.

Our guests witnessed the breathtaking sight of a bold male leopard confidently perched on a tree near the main road. His presence exuded power and grace, and our guests were captivated by the sight of this majestic creature in its natural habitat. s, eels, small birds, termites, and large earthworms.
