Brown Fish Owl

During the evening vehicle safari, the forest was unusually quiet as we moved along the safari road. Suddenly, I spied a massive brown fish owl from the corner of my eye, perched on a low branch. Its piercing yellow eyes glowed in the fading light, while its mottled brown and cream feathers blended seamlessly with the tree bark. It watched us for a while before vanishing into the shadows with a powerful beat of its wings.

It was late evening, the final moments of our safari, and we were on our way out when, in the fading light, we spotted a tigress at a waterhole. With her striped coat glowing in the evening sun, she moved gracefully, her powerful muscles rippling beneath her fur. For a few breathtaking moments, she stood still, locking eyes with us before melting back into the wilderness. It was a fleeting yet unforgettable encounter—a perfect end to the safari.
