Tusker

Sighted on: 18.Nov.2024

Our guests had the opportunity to see a magnificent tusker during the safari this evening. The tusker was grazing peacefully in the viewline when another vehicle arrived on the scene. The sudden arrival of this vehicle startled the tusker, and there was an immediate change in his demeanour, evident in his body language. He became alert and on guard. It just goes to show that we should never take these gentle giants for granted and must respect their personal space.

Indian Pond Heron

Sighted on: 20.Nov.2024

During the Nature Walk, an Indian Pond Heron was spotted resting on a twig. While these herons typically forage along the edges of ponds, they often utilise floating vegetation to reach deeper waters. Fascinatingly, they have been observed dropping bits of food onto the water's surface to lure fish within striking range.
