Tiger
Sighted on: 01.October.2025

This morning, on a misty safari in Kabini, the Magge female made her presence known to our guests. Moving with quiet confidence through the jungle, she paused now and then to spray-mark the trees along her path. Each spray was more than a routine act — it was a powerful message to other tigers that this stretch of forest belongs to her.
Territorial marking is vital for tigers, as it not only asserts dominance but also helps avoid unnecessary confrontations. By leaving behind these unmistakable signs, the Magge female ensures that rivals recognise her strength without the need for direct conflict. For her cubs, this vigilance secures space, resources, and safety.
In the wild, presence is everything. Through her markings, the Magge female keeps her story written across the Kabini landscape — a reminder of the delicate balance of power that shapes life in the jungle.
